Biography for Ronald L. McNabney Attorney at Law
I was born in Anderson, Indiana, and graduated from Anderson High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from Ball State University. I taught high school social studies classes at Muncie Central High School and Muncie South Side High School for eight years before receiving my law degree (Doctor of Jurisprudence) from Indiana State University. I have taught criminal law and procedure for Anderson University.
I have five children and have been married to my wife, Sharon, for 37 years. I work at making family a priority and have coached my children in baseball and basketball leagues. I have served as president of the Anderson Area Soccer Association and have been the Nation Chief of the YMCA Indian Guides program.
I have served as the chairman of the administrative board for the First United Methodist Church and as the president of the Anderson Country Club board of directors. I served on the Urban League board of directors and am a past member of Rotary International.
After graduating from law school in 1976, I became a felony trial deputy for the Madison County prosecutor’s office and later became the chief trial deputy. I have always practiced in Madison County, primarily in litigation. I am a licensed family mediator.
I belong to the following professional organizations: the Madison County Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
I currently serve as the Madison County Democratic Chairperson.
